Oregon Sandblasting & Coating, Inc. has been in the sandblasting and high-performance
coatings business since 1980; with our key personnel having 15+ years of experience. Our
commitment to quality blasting and liquid shop coating goes above and beyond what SSPC QP-3
requires. We support a wide variety of blasting and coating jobs, from heat exchangers, to
structural steel projects, and small jobs for local businesses. The QP-3 certification would limit
our ability to serve these smaller customers, and we would ultimately price ourselves out of the
competition.

The core responsibility of a QP-3 certified shop is to maintain a quality control management
system to ensure that the customer’s specific requirements are followed and met. This includes
detailed daily inspection reports, transparency in all activities, and a commitment to delivering
the best product possible. We hold ourselves to a standard that meets and exceeds these
requirements and will maintain all the records that are required of a QP-3 shop. In the following
